The Virginia operations of Carmeuse Lime & Stone gave back to the community this Thanksgiving by raising money for a local food pantry’s Turkey and Ham Drive
The Middletown, Strasburg and Winchester plants have been supporting Restore Hope Food Pantry since 2014 by pulling together employee donations. The plants beat their fundraising record each year, and together they raised a total of $1,850 for this year’s drive.
Tammy Miller, an accountant for Carmeuse Northern Virginia, presented the donation to the food pantry on November 20. The food pantry serves the Strasburg, VA community.
