The month of April ended with two of Carmeuse’s Great Lakes Region operations, Cedarville and Drummond, sending a check for $4,874 to a local children’s charity.
Carmeuse was approached by its freight vendor, Rand Logistics, a leading provider of bulk freight shipping services throughout the region, to participate in the Marine Miracle Month in August.

During the month, Rand Logistics donated five cents for every ton of cargo carried by its fleet to charity of Carmeuse’s choice. Cedarville and Drummond selected Bay Cliff, a summer camp in Big Bay, MI, that helps children and adults with physical disabilities increase their independence and live fuller lives.
“We are proud supporters of the Bay Cliff camp and are grateful to have vendors who also support local charities,” said Lisa Holmberg, Cedarville Operation Logistics Manager.
