For the fourth year in a row, Grand River joined more than 50 science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) businesses and universities at Goodyear’s STEM Career Day on April 21 at Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio.
Grand River representatives included Brian Horvath, Site Operations Manager, and Harry Harris, Maintenance Supervisor. The duo hosedt a booth to provide information for students from sixth through eighth grades.
Participants engaged in STEM-related activities, interacted with company representatives, attended presentations and received a free t-shirt.
