On December 4, 2019, employees from the Carmeuse Drummond Island site donated toys, food and supplies to local Drummond Island families in need. The donations were delivered to nonprofit organizations to be given to families this holiday season.
The toys were donated to a children’s Christmas party at Drummond Island’s Moose Lodge, a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for the young and old, bringing communities together and celebrating life. Food and supplies were donated to the Community Food Bank, which provides food and other supplies to local families in need.
“We are always looking for ways to give back to the community,” said Tracy Reichlin of Carmeuse Drummond Island. “The holiday season is the perfect time to collect toys and food for families in need. We hope these donations will ease burdens and bring joy this holiday season.”
