On July 20, the Black River Operation held a picnic for the Tom Browning Boys & Girls Club, a Carmeuse Foundation Partner. Plant managers grilled hot dogs and served chips, drinks and cookies. Games and inflatables were also on-site for children to enjoy.
Located in Maysville, KY, the Tom Browning Boys & Girls Club is a non-profit youth development organization dedicated to promoting health, physical, social, educational, vocational, cultural, character and leadership development. The organization was created to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantage circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
