Carmeuse Dundas Donates to Support Vulnerable Young People

Carmeuse Dundas Operation has partnered with Good Shepherd Youth Services in Hamilton, ON, as a corporate matching gift partner in the charity’s No Youth Should Stand Alone campaign. The campaign is aiming to raise $150,000 in donations that will be matched dollar-for-dollar by community leaders and local organizations, such as Carmeuse.

Good Shepherd has provided health and human services in Hamilton since 1961. Today its services include emergency food and clothing, daily hot meals, emergency shelters, transitional housing and education for homeless youth, hospice care, and community mental health.

“The money raised as part of the campaign will be used to to assist vulnerable young people in need with food and shelter, medical and mental health, and education-for-life skills. We look forward to other ways in which we can support the Good Shepherd in their efforts to help vulnerable youth in our community,” said Charles Diab—Senior Development Officer.
